Who would find your online courses useful?
High school or university students who are studying or planning to study in Ontario. The courses would also be useful for students who have been out of school for some time and want to refresh their knowledge of high school curriculum. Our courses are also ideal for schools that want to provide their students with supplementary resources or would like to offer online courses. Our courses would be beneficial to students living in remote areas of Ontario.
How do your courses differ from those taught in Ontario schools?
The courses that we offer cover all expectations from the Ontario ministry documents. For that reason, they can be used by teachers in schools to deliver the Ontario curriculum to their students. The courses contain video instruction, notes, handouts, worksheets, and formative and summative assessments. The only difference between our courses and those delivered in Ontario schools is that our courses have more supplementary resources to help students study for their tests. These include complete solutions to quizzes and practice tests.
Do you offer any kind of support to students taking your online courses?
Yes, we offer online tutoring sessions to students taking our courses. We understand that some students might have difficulty with some of the concepts of each course and would prefer a teacher to explain the concepts to them. For technical difficulties, please email us at support@onstudy.ca.
Do you offer discounts to those that would like to enrol in more than one course?
Yes, we offer membership and subscription plans apart from allowing people to purchase individual courses.
How would I know if I would like a course before purchasing it?
The first unit of each course is available free of charge. The sample unit of each course is a good representation of what the other units are like.
